The MP718-2A series is a chrome plated swing handle lock for industrial enclosures where both corrosion protection and a clean, finished appearance matter. The bright chrome plated zinc alloy housing resists wear and oxidation on visible cabinet doors, and a black powder coated version is available for low-reflection applications.
The swing handle sits flush in the panel and pops out at the push of the steel button, so the lock is quick to open yet snag-free when closed. Stainless steel screws and an adjusting screw let the latch adapt to different door and gasket thicknesses.
Rated IP54, the MP718-2A is widely used on distribution cabinets, telecom enclosures, control panels and machinery cabinets. Two variants are available: MP718-2A with insert (CH751 key) and MP718-2AB without insert for custom cylinders. Dimension drawings and cut-out templates are provided below.
