Core Product Features & Competitive Advantages
2.1 Two Universal Mounting Options Reduce Inventory Cost
Dual structural designs cover two mainstream installation demands: protruding stud nut locking and flush countersunk screw fixing. One product family replaces two separate hinges, effectively cutting SKU quantity, simplifying purchasing, warehousing and production scheduling for cabinet manufacturers and distributors.
2.2 Multi-Knuckle Interlocked Structure for Stable Load
5-piece interlaced knuckle barrel distributes door load evenly, eliminates single-point stress concentration. Rotation is smooth with minimal friction and no shaking, greatly improves torsional rigidity, suitable for medium and heavy-weight metal cabinet doors, effectively preventing long-term sagging and deformation.
2.3 Wear-Resistant Solid Steel Pivot Pin
Central Φ6 steel spindle has higher hardness, shear strength and abrasion resistance than zinc alloy pins. Endures tens of thousands of frequent opening cycles without loosening, bending or jamming, prolongs the whole hinge service life and lowers after-sales replacement rate.
2.4 Durable Matte Black Powder Coating Layer
Electrostatic powder spraying forms a dense protective film on zinc alloy substrate, featuring excellent scratch resistance, impact resistance, anti-fading and oil-proof properties. Low-gloss matte black surface avoids fingerprints, matches the unified black appearance style of automation, power and control equipment.
2.5 High Precision Integrated Zinc Alloy Die-Casting
Whole body high-pressure die-cast molding ensures tight tolerance and seamless knuckle fit. No assembly gaps, low rotation noise, strong anti-vibration capability, stable operation under mechanical vibration environment of industrial equipment workshops.
Main Application Scenarios
- Electrical control cabinets, distribution boxes, PLC enclosures, inverter cabinets and terminal junction boxes
- Industrial automation equipment casings, testing instruments, laboratory analytical equipment protective housings
- Network server cabinets, weak current control boxes, charging piles and outdoor indoor electrical panels
- Equipment cabinets requiring two different installation methods in the same project
- Mass standardized sheet metal cabinet production with uniform black industrial hardware aesthetic
Installation & Maintenance Guide
4.1 Installation Steps
CL214-1 Embedded Stud Type
- Drill two matching holes on the mounting panel according to stud spacing.
- Pass M6 studs through panel holes, fasten with lock nuts on the back side.
- Fix the opposite hinge leaf on the door panel with screws, test 180° opening rotation.
CL214-2 Countersunk Type
- Mark 4-hole positions on cabinet frame and door leaf based on drawing dimensions.
- Drill holes and install flat head screws into 90° countersunk holes for fully flush mounting.
- Swing the door to check unobstructed full opening and closing movement.
4.2 Installation Quantity Recommendation
- Door height ≤ 600mm: Install 2 hinges symmetrically
- Door height 600mm–1000mm or heavy metal door: Add 1 middle hinge for load balance
4.3 Maintenance Reminders
Designed exclusively for dry indoor environments. Do not use in high humidity, corrosive gas, acid/alkaline vapor or heavily dusty workshops. Wipe powder coated surface with dry soft cloth regularly; apply a small amount of anti-rust lubricant on steel pivot pin quarterly to keep rotation silky smooth.
Product Summary
CL214 series is a heavy-duty zinc alloy butt hinge available in embedded M6 stud (CL214-1) and flush countersunk screw (CL214-2) two configurations. Equipped with wear-resistant steel pin and scratch-proof matte black powder coating, the interlocked multi-knuckle structure delivers superior load performance and stable rotation. It is a versatile standardized hardware solution for industrial electrical enclosures, automation machinery and sheet metal instrument cabinets.
