Cabinet Sealing Strips & Edge Gaskets for Enclosures

Reaking sealing strips (door gaskets) form the weather and dust seal around enclosure and cabinet doors. They are supplied as push-on or self-adhesive profiles that clip onto the sheet-metal edge and compress against the frame when the door closes.

The MFT series covers a wide range of profile sizes and cut lengths, in EPDM rubber, PVC and silicone, to suit protection ratings from IP54 up to IP66 and outdoor installations.

FAQ

Q: What is a cabinet sealing strip used for?
A: It seals the gap around an enclosure door against dust, water and air, helping the cabinet achieve its IP protection rating.

Q: What materials are the sealing strips made of?
A: EPDM rubber, PVC and silicone, chosen according to temperature range, chemical exposure and required IP rating.

Q: How is the sealing strip fitted?
A: Most profiles are push-on types that clip onto the sheet-metal edge; self-adhesive versions are also available.

Q: Which sealing strip suits an outdoor cabinet?
A: For outdoor and UV-exposed enclosures we recommend EPDM or silicone profiles — tell us your IP target and panel thickness for a recommendation.

Q: Do you offer custom sealing strip lengths?
A: Yes — strips are cut to length in the profile you choose. Send us the required length, profile and material for a quotation.
